Just in time for your awkward family Christmas lunch. This month's AUX is packed with tracks from all across the globe, and as usual — artists to keep an eye on, independent releases and of course a banging new illustration.
The past couple of weeks were surprisingly a good time for new music, with new projects from KAYTRANADA, The Free Nationals, Tinashe and Labyrinth amongst many others. None of which however feature in this month's AUX playlist.
As usual, we've carefully handpicked an impressive selection of the artists we should also be watching, independent releases and the little guys under the radar.
AUX December features:
A revisit to an August release from Gus Dappeson with Give It To Me Straight.
This fire collaboration alt dreams were made of, featuring Take A Daytrip, slowthai, Rico Nasty and ICECOLDBISHOP.
And my personal favourite for this month, Natural Born Killers (Ride For Me) from James Messiah, an artist and poet from south-London. The track fuses grime beats with Messiah's hypnotic vocals for what I can only describe as pure production excellence.
All this and more up on our Spotify and SoundCloud. Best enjoyed on shuffle.
