ALOE FROM HOME IS BACK FOR MORE LIVE MUSIC FROM SA'S MOST PROMISING ESTABLISHED AND EMERGING ACTS

Aloe From Home is the live stream performance series by Cape Town-based music and artist agency Aloe Aloe. From tomorrow, 1 July – Aloe Aloe will be broadcasting the new season from The Raptor Room, which will see performances and sets from  Laudable, GinaJeanz, Diamond Thug, Blaqkongo, Orah & The Kites and more from Aloe Aloe's growing roster.

June 30, 2020

Aloe From Home started as the the COVID-19 lockdown hit South Africa back in March. It functions as a live streaming platform that hosts some of the scene-shaping and genre-bending musicians who would normally be entertaining at live music venues and festivals across the country.

Whilst it remains uncertain as to when live performances as we know them will resume taking place - where we can all be in one space together moving our bodies and feeling each others energy again, one thing is certain, the Aloe Aloe team remains committed to engaging us with new ways of staying connected and experiencing live music together moving forward.

Season 2 of Aloe From Home will be coming from their new new home in Roeland Street - The Raptor Room, a little bar and restaurant that's big on neon and big on queers on the eastern edge of the Cape Town CBD.

The lineup is a selection of new an returning favourites kicking off with lyricist Laudable tomorrow night (1 July) before singer/songwriter Luh'ra takes to the stage on Sunday.
